Caring Veterinary Support—At Your Door
Pawprints Vetcare is an independent mobile veterinary clinic. We believe pets deserve love, dignity, and gentle care, especially in the comfort of their own home. Therefore, as a mobile service, we bring high-quality, personalised care directly to your doorstep, helping to reduce stress for both you and your beloved companion. Whether your pet needs routine or urgent care, ongoing quality-of-life support, or a peaceful goodbye surrounded by love, we are here to help. Right where they feel safest.
Vaccination
We create a bespoke vaccination plan for your pet based on their age, breed and lifestyle. We also offer VacciCheck titre testing to ensure that we are not over vaccinating your pets.
Parasite Control
We create individual deworming plans based on your pet’s age, breed and lifestyle. We also offer testing for lungworm and faecal antigens if you prefer to monitor rather than over medicate.
Diagnostics
We offer blood work, ultrasound, Tendiboots exams, faecal testing & VacciCheck tests. We are also equipped with Oxygen, multi parameter monitoring and offer emergency transport for your pets.
Annual Examinations
Annual physical exams allow us to assess your pet in their own comfy home, monitor changes over time and detect concerns early. This means more effective treatment and a longer, healthier life for your lovely pets.
We treat your pet as a family member

Hello — thanks so much for visiting our website! My name is Steffi, and I have been a Veterinary Surgeon (BSc, BVM&S, MRCVS) since 2016. I completed my studies at the University of Edinburgh, after previously studying at McGill University — an eight-year journey that shaped the way I practise today. You can also find me on the RCVS register by clicking here.
Since qualifying, I have been working specifically in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care for over six years, and during that time, I served as the head vet at an emergency clinic for four of those years. However, throughout this experience, I increasingly recognised that traditional in-clinic consultations simply don’t work for everyone. Our pets and their owners deserve privacy, time, and patience. They also deserve the option of a home visit, especially when pets are extremely anxious or when the very difficult moment comes to say goodbye.
With that in mind, we now offer tailored health care for your pets — because prevention is always better than cure — along with several additional services detailed on our services and pricing page.
In addition, we provide a very special gentle and peaceful euthanasia service in the comfort of your home, ensuring a calm and stress-free environment for both your pet and your family. We understand how important it is for your pet to be surrounded by familiar faces and comforting routines during their final moments, such as hearing the reassurance of your voice. We strongly believe that this is the kindest final gift we can offer them. We also organise individual or communal cremation on your behalf, helping to ease the burden during an emotionally challenging time.
Ultimately, the goal of this service is to make veterinary care as seamless, compassionate, and relaxing as possible for you, your family, and of course, your beloved pet.
Testimonials
Steffi was the most caring, compassionate, professional support we could've hoped for at such a devastating time. She was amazing from the get-go, and our Sasha was so calm and peaceful in her final moments, which was obviously a huge relief for us. Steffi explained everything fully, and at no point did we feel rushed. Steffi, the love and compassion you have shown us over the past few weeks has meant so much to us, and we will always be thankful and grateful for you and the service you have provided for us and our Sash. Thank you again.

Sasha's ownerSteffi is absolutely amazing! She is kind, gentle and an excellent Vet. My dog is nearly 11 years old and finds it difficult to get in an out of the car to travel to a veterinary surgery and also finds it very stressful. Having Steffi visit our home to carry out Lottie’s yearly health check and vaccinations was the most relaxed Lottie has ever been. Steffi also spends time to explain everything in detail and provides a comprehensive report too. I can’t recommend Steffi highly enough, she is brilliant! Thank you Steffi 😊
Paula
Lottie's ownerTo say Steffi was amazing is truly an understatement. She made the whole process of having our beautiful lab Max of 14 years put to sleep so easy. Max was treated with dignity, respect and empathy (as were we all as a family) as he crossed over the rainbow bridge. Just the little things that Steffi did such as a condolence card, dropping off his ashes, little wings artefact, had a huge impact to us as we grieved for our boy. Thank you for everything Steffi.
Max
Max's ownerWe feel so grateful to have found Pawprints Vetcare & Steffi. Our sweet Lia very sadly went into renal failure and deteriorated quite quickly - our regular vet put us in touch with Steffi as we had expressed wanting Lia to have palliative care and to be helped over the rainbow bridge at home (Lia HATED going to the vet). From my first conversation with Steffi through to when she delivered our Lia's ashes back to us, Steffi was kind, attentive, clear, calm and loving. We were able to contact Steffi anytime with questions re. how Lia was doing, all the way to contacting her on Christmas day because we knew it was time to say goodbye to our sweet girl the following day. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lia's ownerSteffi was really supportive and helpful at a difficult time for our family. Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy, and Steffi went over and above to help and support us throughout.

Steffi was fantastic in every way during a very difficult time. She’d been recommended to us by our usual vet as we needed help at home, including out-of-hours. Steffi was incredibly responsive, exceptionally supportive & caring - to our lovely dog and to us -, and at the same time very professional & skilful. We can’t thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone who loves their pet.

Steffi was the most supportive and understanding throughout the last few days of Buffy's life. Steffi was sensitive to Buffys needs, and knew these decisions have to be made last minute. Steffi kept in regular contact every day asking how we were doing, and came out within two hours of phoning when the time was right. I couldn't have imagined going through that process with anyone else. Thank you once again.

Lottie’s ownerThe care and attention Steffi was able to give us and our beloved Pippa at such a difficult time was beyond amazing. We were devastated not to able to be with Pippa when she became ill but Steffi helped us at very short notice and visited Pippa’s carer to assess her. Sadly it was time to say ‘goodbye’ but throughout the afternoon Steffi showed immense kindness and compassion to us and most importantly Pippa. We could not thank and recommend Steffi highly enough, no one could have done more on the day all pet owners dread will inevitably come.

FAQ
What services do you offer?
Think of us as an upgraded mobile consultation room! We provide routine and emergency consultations, blood work, ultrasounds, lameness evaluations, and palliative care. We also offer pet transport with oxygen and monitoring. And when the very sad time comes, we provide a compassionate, peaceful at-home euthanasia service, ensuring your pet is surrounded by love and comfort.
What if my pet is unstable - can you still transport them?
Short answer - Yes!
Each case is assessed individually, but our van is equipped with oxygen, blood analyzers, ultrasound, and monitoring equipment for unstable patients. Most importantly, your pet is transported by a qualified veterinary team, typically a veterinary surgeon and nurse.
Are you actually independent?
Yes! Pawprints Vetcare is an independent veterinary mobile clinic. Our goal is to bring back the good old days of personal, trustworthy and compassionate veterinary care to our communities and ensure that we work together with pet owners to give their pets the best lives possible.
Can you perform surgery in the van?
At Pawprints, we believe that surgery is not best performed in a mobile setting. For this reason, we partner with independent veterinary clinics to provide surgical and hospital care when needed. As part of our service, we can also assist with transporting your pets safely to and from these clinics.
Do you offer health plans?
We are currently exploring which pet plans will best suit your pets and will keep you updated as we make progress.
What to do if my pet has an emergency?
In a true emergency, the first step is to stay calm to avoid increasing your pet’s anxiety, then call us on 07860 167063. If we are unable to take your call during working hours (09:00–18:00), please contact your nearest veterinary clinic. Outside these hours (08:30–18:00), you can reach Vets Now Farnham on 01252 444 436. In the unlikely event that a home visit is not possible, you may need to take your pet to the nearest clinic for consultation. If we can attend, we will perform a home visit and discuss the appropriate next steps for your pet’s care.
Can you help with euthanasia and aftercare?
Yes, Pawprints Vetcare offers a very special compassionate and personal peaceful euthanasia service. All pets are sedated first to ensure that welfare is prioritised and to make the procedure gentle and calm for your pet and your family. Once your pet has been humanely euthanised, we organise cremation for you, if you choose. You can rest assured that your pet is safe and sound with us and focus on your family. We always offer fur clippings and ink paw prints as a kind gesture and hand deliver these along with your pet's ashes.
