Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. At Pawprints Vetcare, our goal is to make the process as gentle, respectful, and stress-free as possible - for both you and your companion.

We begin with a sedative to help your pet relax and drift into a calm, peaceful state, free from fear or anxiety.

• For dogs: Once fully relaxed, a small catheter is placed in their leg, allowing the final medication to be administered smoothly and painlessly.

• For cats: A catheter is usually not required. The final injection is given with a small needle after sedation, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed farewell.

Throughout the process, your pet is treated with the utmost care and compassion, surrounded by love, in the comfort of home or wherever they feel safest.

If desired, we can organise cremation and personally return your pet’s ashes. As part of our service, we also provide a small memorial package, including fur clippings and ink paw prints, to help you remember your precious companion.
